The Durham-Orange Community Tennis Association (DOCTA) has been honored with the Junior Tournament of the Year in Memory of John Allen Farfour Award for its DOCTA Open Jr. Tennis Challenge in Chapel Hill.

DOCTA partners with the Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation and is supported by the amazing Chapel Hill/Carrboro School System facilities staff.  The long-time Durham tournament has been hosted in Chapel Hill for the past 3 years to promote and support the growth of tennis.  Ages 12 tp 19 compete in singles and doubles play as family and friends support their efforts.

Over 15 years old, the DOCTA Open Jr. Tennis Challenge has seen many youth grow up on the court!  DOCTA is pleased and honored to receive this award.  Special thanks to USTA North Carolina and the North Carolina Tennis Foundation. DOCTA will receive this honor at NC Tennis Weekend in January 2020.  Learn more at www.nctennis.com.
