The USA League Tennis program is a nationwide program established
by the USTA and sponsored by Lincoln. The North Carolina
Tennis Association has 12 local leagues across the state,
with winners of those local leagues competing in the state
championship. Leagues are divided in to skill levels represented
by numerical values from 2.5 to 5.0. The format is a team
concept where each team match in 3.0-4.5 consists of two
singles matches and three doubles matches. In 2.5 and 5.0,
matches are made up of one singles and two doubles.
The North Carolina Tennis Association (NCTA) was founded
in 1973 and since that time has focused on its singular
mission: To promote and develop the game of tennis in North
Carolina. For more information on the types of programs
and services offered by the NCTA, please visit us at www.nctennis.com.
